anyway... continuing my previous photo posting.. 'Pemotongan Ayam Barokah'.
I pass this place everytime I go to my training project in Maguwoharjo. And today (few days after I took the picture) I saw the chickens delivery. About 10 chickens are smashed (smashed, not put) into a small container. And every trucks is full with about 64 containers or more (not large trucks, but small pick ups). can you imagine that? 640 chickens, or maybe more, was abused til death. and it's not stopped yet. After this delivery process, and before they're slaughtered, they're removed into a 6x4 storage room (Remember, 640 chicks! this means their moving spaces is only 0.315 m2 each). aaAAahh!! this is just a very tiny example, from a very small place in Maguwoharjo, Jogjakarta.

this is just another picture for battery chickens. they raised in total darkness, with rough and crowded transportation, during various weather conditions. Another concern is the use of selective breeding to create heavy, large-breasted birds, which can lead to crippling leg disorders and heart failure for some of the birds. Remember that companies growing single varieties of birds for eggs or meat are increasing their susceptiblity to disease.
Do you think you're intelligent? EAT THAT!!

young age architecture?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

It is hardly noticed.. but children has learned architecture since their life begun. They know light and dark, smooth and rough, color and details, to the connection of spaces.

Last Saturday, me, Clownie and Bebe went to Milas. Bebe got a new friend named Koichi (is the spelling right? my bad, sorry). When we're got there, he's playing Lego and answered "i'm so busy at the time, would you be patient? i am building a big house," when Bebe wants to play with him. Few minutes then he finished his 'big house' and showed it to his parents. His presentation is very amusing, he can beat his father's arguments (haha!). this view is so attracting, yet giving me a new point of view.

why should we shy for our designs? why should we shy to show it? a very bad stereotypical attitude for Indonesians. There's nothing wrong with the design, it will just show your point of view, your objectives, your favorite: music, colors, forms, etc. it will show you! Koichi is a good example for a self motivation. Thank you, Koichi, good night :)
